Last year the Dodge Charger Registry had a meet-up in Gettysburg, PA, but they are not having one this year.  Is anyone in the area (DC/MD/VA/WV/etc.) interested in meeting up for a day and have one big Charger bash for ALL Chargers (66-08)?  Maybe we can meet up at a nice state or local park somewhere.  Anyone interested?   :icon_smile_big:

I am game all depending on when and where it might be.  Just have to work it out with the wife and with any luck, hopefully we will have a house by then.  I know I had a blast last year at Gettysburg.  I am kinda disappointed we will not be having one up in our neck of the woods this year.  We made a ton of friends last year.

I think you guys on the east coast should go to Harrington Delaware.  They have the Harrington State Fair Grounds where many a car show has taken place.  I don't own a Charger but love those cars to death.  It's rare to see any in the wild, and even rarer to see them at local car shows.  I'd love it if a Charger meet happened in my neck of the woods.

Keep it in or closes to MD and I'll go! :yesnod:

Depending on the interest, I am thinking of a state park and a family day.  Basically it might be a "bring your own" picnic lunch thing.  We would set the place and time and go from there.  Maybe a nice cruise through the back roads and the scenic routes.  What do you all think?  I am trying to keep this as simple and inexpensive as possible.   :icon_smile_cool:

I'll be in Maryland for six weeks this summer. I'd be interested if it didn't conflict with other obligations.

I'm near Fredericksburg, VA.  Count me in if its a reasonable drive!  Sounds like fun!   :2thumbs:

I SHOULD BE GETTING MY CAR RUNNING SOON. MY GOAL IS JULY, SO IF YOU GUYS SET A DATE AROUND THEN OR LATER I'LL BE MORE HAPPY TO COME.  ITS NO SHOW PIECE BUT JUST SEE SOME OTHERS WILL BE ENOUGH. I LIVE IN MARYLAND CLOSE TO DC AND VERY CLOSE TO THE BELTWAY SO ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Hunt Valley, MD is supposed to have some decent areas for gatherings.  The Nova Nationals were held there 2 years ago.  It's just north of Baltimore off I-83.  Some other areas I can think of in Maryland are Downs Park in Pasadena, North East Community Park in North East, MD.

I like the State Park idea the best.  If you want a nice cruise, Skyline Drive is nice but fuel stops are few.  Speed limit on the parkway is 35 mph.

Anyone have anymore ideas on this meet?  I'd like to finalize things soon, so we have time to plan a little.  Give me your thoughts.  Thanks.  :icon_smile_big:

I'm guessing that if you really want to do this, you will have to make all the decisions yourself and then tell the rest of us where to meet up once you do.  Sucks I know, but most people are so busy that they want someone to just "take charge" and make the decisions for them.

Its easier to clear a weekend schedual than it is to find an open slot.   :eyes:

Your probably right.  I should know better as I have been planning events for my old Neon club and now the new Charger club myself.  So, I will post it real soon.  Basically it will be one of those "Heres the deal!" posts.  Stay tuned.  I'll make it as simple and cheap as I can.   :icon_smile_big:

MY CAR IS GETTING SOME WIRING DONE RIGHT NOW TO GET IT BACK UP AND RUNNING. I HOPE TO HAVE IT BACK BY THE END OF JUNE. WHEN YOU GUYS MAKE A DATE, HOPEFULLY ON THE WEEKEND, I BE SURE TO DRIVE HER UP.  AFTER WIRING I'M GETTING BODY WORK DONE SO SHE MIGHT BE PRIMERED OR MAYBE NOT, I GUESS THE BODY WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY THE END OF JULY OR SO. WHATEVER STAGE SHE IS IN I'M STILL GOING TO MAKE THE TRIP. :popcrn:

SICK DAWG,  DO YOU KNOW WHERE TAKOMA PARK OR LANGLEY PARK IS?
