Going back to my roots: bought me a '69 Charger again !!! *pics*

Most of you guys remember me having a flat black 69 383 Charger. Sold her to cover my weak fin. situation, bought a 72 cuda afterwards and had way to much trouble getting it into my country. (you can read several threats about it :RantExplode: )

Well, even having the cuda for a very short time I didn't feel a real connection like I had with my Charger(s)
( I had two 2nd gens and one 3th gen before)

I realised not to be an E-body type so sold her to a guy in France couple of weeks ago.

This will ease the pain selling my mean flat black '69 and  '72 cuda:

1969 Charger, T7 Bronze, #'s matching 383/4bbl and 727 TF 3-speed A/T, original 8 3/4 rear end with 3:23 gears.
factory air car, 2 recovered broadcastsheets, stock rebuild engine with milder cam.

I paid for the Charger last Thursday and expecting the car mid July

Here's the pics:

Man! That's beautiful!
It's amazing what they did with brown back then, eh? I'll bet it really pops in the sunshine.

That colour is very similar to my first car - 73 Charger - can't remember the code, but I called it root beer brown
and my 71 NYer that'll be out of the shop soon... - code is K6 Bronze

Im the kinda guy that repaints the car to the colour I want once i get it... but, I always tend to end up with the colours I would never settle with, (dark green metalic last car, red new 1 to come) Your brown however, I wouldnt mind that on for a good while before changing it, and maybe with time id grow into liking it enough to never want to change it.

Well done

Wheels look like torque thrust II's, possible 16x or 17x something.

I remember seeing all of your cars you had, and this one blows all of them away by far! LOVE the color too :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:  :2thumbs:

Yes, you are right! I didn't like the brown but it's growing on me.
With the black top and nice rims with those RWL tires it's a nice combo. :icon_smile_big:

So you did get her CB!  Congrats!  I was watching that car & hoping someone on here snagged it.

The C5X cloth/vinyl seats are a pretty seldom seen option as well.  Please be sure to register it as the new owner like we discussed in the PM's

Good god CB This is one hell of a nice Charger.....
And I see it got some nice options.

Stenton, I must say, it is a thrill to search, find, negotiate, etc on a car and then finally receiving the car at the docks.
It's a little addicting ;D it's car number 8 I am importing

CB, I am really glad you got that car.  At least it is what you wanted.  While the one I looked at for you was nice, not nearly as nice as this one.

I was wondering why you sold the Cuda just after owning it for a few weeks (saw it on mopar.nl). But the charger is waaaay nice than the cuda. Congrats!
