71-74 repo MACHINE GUN / slotted exhausht tips . do they last ??????????

ive found a few on EBAY from $209 to $265.00 . how do they hold up and stay nice looking ? i want to get the orange / red insert tips but how long does the color last before it turns black ? when ever i get the runner back on the road ill be putting less than 1000 miles a year on it . and it stays in the garage the rest of the time .

so do these exhaust tips stay NEW looking or do they fade and discolor fast ?

I got mine from PG Classic, they have lasted and stayed nice. I have about 1000 miles on them.

I have the red ones. They are realy nice. No let downs here.

Yup I have red ones from Mancini...red is fading a tad, but still good 2 years with 'em
