I just thought I would let you guys and gals in on a car I saw today.
If you can remember about a month ago, I had posted that I was going to sell one of my cars "GTO" and try to purchase a 68-70 Charger.
Well I did sell the GTO and I couild not find what i wanted in a Charger within my price range so I settled for an E body.
Anyway, the seller has a 69 Charger sitting next to his house, it is all covered up with tarps and trash and wood and cardboard so no one can see what it is from the street. I asked him about it before and he told me flat out, NOT FOR SALE, that was OK with me so I went ahead and put a deposit on the E body. I have been waiting for the transport to pick up the GTO and take it across country so I decided to go back over and talk to the seller about the E once again today.
One thing lead to another and he started to reveal what the Charger really is, I was SHOCKED.....
I thought all along it was a 318 car, he hinted it was an R/T in the past but I never heard mentioned of it again.
Anyways, it is a 69  R/T S/E numbers matching car, here is the killer part to this, last registered in 1970 and it has only 15k miles on it.
He took the time to uncover part of it to show me and the paint has wore off the panels because of the coverings but it is as solid as the prudential rock.
The interior needs only a cleaning, except for the front seats missing (stolen) it is an easy resto. I thought he said it has a Sun Roof and I forgot to look up when I looked at the interior. This car shocked me......
He would not let me take a picture of the car so when I took a picture of the E I bought i was able to catch it on the side. This is what I saw when he took the tarp off of it......
