I seen a few things on here lately about 69 sunroof cars and got me too thinking.  :slap: When I was in high school a boy had a very nice 69 R/T sunroof car B5 blue, blue interior, stripe delete with emblems on quarters, and I think white top? may have been black? anyway I loved that car and one day after school he pulled out in front of someone and got hit very hard in door and front quarter divers side I think. it was still drivable and he had the door tied shut. he traded it in on a 81 Trans Am so I stopped there and they wanted $150.00 for it which was alot in 81 for a wrecked car. I wish now I had bought it.  :brickwall:  I Thought about it a few days and went back and it was gone sold. I always wondered what happened to it weather it was junked or fixed?. anyone out the know?  it was in NC around 1981 82?

Considering that is was in 81 or 82, my money's on the guess that it's been parted out & is currently residing in the great boneyard in the sky.
Hopefully I'm wrong though, it would be cool to see restored. :icon_smile_cool:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

There was a B5 blue RT/SE sunroof car at the Mopar nationals approximately 6 years ago. I'll do some digging and see if I can come up with any photo's of the car. It had a white vinyl top on it, and as I recall was in the state of Pennsylvania.

That would be an awesome car in B5 blue.Do you recall what options it had on it?

Good luck on the search! It reminds me of a car my teacher told me about. He said his dad had a '69 R/T SE, it was B5 Blue, white interior, white vinyl top, 440...his dad lost control, flipped it over on some traintracks and it got smucked by a train...twisted the car BIG time. :rotz:

Beautiful car!  At the front base of the console under the trim, shouldn't there be blue rug there?  What is used on that car, just curious?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

As a side bar issue, what was with the R/T emblems on the back fenders of the car...did you get that if you ordered stripe delete?
Do I have the last, operational Popcar Spacemobile?
