I am int he process of prepainting my charger which is originally Black.  The paint store I am dealing with is indicated that I should buy a pre-made black that is sold in the gallon.  I am confident that this is not he original color as I have an original formula that says there is white and yellow and other colors in the mix.  Has anyone used the pre-made or Pre-,manufactured black in place of a factory black, and if so is it noticable or detectable along side other original blacks?

Black should be Black unless there is a metalic to it...... it's the easiest color to match dead on 99A

Painting Cars for over 20 years it's my opinion Black is not always black as most think. Get the right paint code, dont use a one size fits all. LEON. :brickwall: :scratchchin:

true .. :yesnod:     been painting 20 years also ........ can mix 6 different  non metallic blacks from different manufactures .. do sprayouts  hold then next to each other  & some will look browner  or bluer  or grayer  to each other  :yesnod: but separate they all look black black :yesnod:

if it were me get the correct mix  from the paint code  :2thumbs:
