Hudson Hornet !

I am shopping for a stroker kit and aluminum heads for my 383. I have shopped around and seen the offerings for muscle motors as well as 440 source. My question is: Where are these parts made, and are they reliable? I do not want to put chinese parts in my charger, so please let me know what you think. Should I go with edelbrock heads, or from somewhere else? I plan to run this as a strip/street motor with a hydraulic roller cam. Any info is greatly appreciated. Also, If you know of any proven combos, please post!

I put the 440Source 496" kit in my 383. Makes 555 HP and just over 610 ft/lbs of torque. Not sure what the Muscle Motors one is from. My combo is in the "Proven Combos" section. Look it up.

i got the 383 to 431 kit from muscle motors.  i would not recommend buying from them.  they use the cheapest crank they can find and i had to get two of them before i gave up with them.  i ended up buying a 440 source crank and it was perfect.  if i was going to do it all over again i would just buy from 440 source.

Showing my ignorance of the stroker kit market here but do they each source their cranks?

I have not heard much good stuff from Muscle Motors...    oh well...   I've dealt with 440 Source stroker kits and I love them...    never any parts complications or problems

Thanks for all the replies. If I go with 440 source, does anyone know where the cranks, rods etc. are made? Also, what about the 440 source heads?

440Source sells a mix of both... their web site usually tells you which is which for the most part.
