Ok, maybe this isn't new so some of you but I thought it was an easy way to check some of the stuff I bought recently.  I bought a few wiring items to finish off the lighting option on my 69.  I spent a couple hours buying new bulbs for the new wiring and cleaned up what I got from a junkyard.  Since my car isn't at my place and I do not have a continuity tester, I really wanted to test it out before I got it to my car and spent the time to put it on which wouldn't be for a couple weeks yet.  Anyhow, I got to thinking....hhhmmmm....what could I use to make sure this works...then I got the idea.  I dug thru the battery drawer and found a 9 volt battery!  Bingo!  I checked the trunk wiring, light and switch; glovebox light and switch; cig light; and ignition light!  Everything lit up and seemed solid.  Needless to say I was glad that my recent purchases worked.  Now if I can just figure out where I plug this stuff into the wiring harness I'll be done :)
Over?! its not over until we say it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!...Hell no! and its not over now!..(Germans? Pearl Harbor?...shut up, he's on a roll)

spartan,

If you get this, I'm now installing a few lighting package lights in my 69 ncharger, kinda like you did.  Do you know where I can locate a trunk light? preferably NOS.

Thanks,
