is there a difference in how/where the mirrors mount on the doors of 71 vs. 72 charger? I have a 71 passenger side door and it seems like the mirror location is alittle further back and it seems there is an extra hole?
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

Just checked the mirrors on my 71 and 72 driver's side. They are in the same exact location.
72 Charger- Base Model
