Not sure what you're asking but the distrubtor shaft should rotate freely in the housing.  :yesnod:

I mean mounted... I have a play where I can move the rotor/shaft some... I can not say you how much degrees

Ok, that makes sense. Yes, the rotor should move some.....that is the advance mechanism at work.  :yesnod:

well I have to check how much of the advance mechanism is really, or maybe is an internal play with oil shaft/gear because some worn at shaft end or anywhere. will update.
