Can I just ask, what size Rallye Wheels are they on the rear ?

If they are 15 x 8 then what size trim ring did you use ?

Thanks, :2thumbs:

Chris

The rear rim is 15-8, size 275 / 60 - 15. Trim rings I believe are a three inch polished as opposed to the two inch. Hope that helps.

Chris

This is the only one I can find at the moment, I will look for some others.

This is the car that sold me on the spoilers and the wheel tire combo, I saw this and pretty much new that this was the look I was looking for!

Looks really nice. Must be nice to get a car done in just a few months. I bet it cost a small fortune though....but well worth it  :2thumbs:

Ah, thats 68RT4ME's car...very sweet looking ride indeed. I also want to do a front spoiler. Chris, which company did you use for the spoiler? And how did it fit?

Chris

Troy Angelly of Angelleys restorations purchased , painted and mounted the Spoilers. They both fit perfect, but I am not sure where he purchased them.

I think you'll find the best place to get a front spoiler is First Place Auto parts
www.fpap.com

They are supposed to be just like the originals. i got a Gull wing from them and it was perfect. The one on Andys car (picture up top) is an original one I think. Thay get a bit wavy the original ones.

Hey Chris,

thanks very much for the pic of the wheel. Because I'm here in Australia there's not many other car to look at to see how things go. I'm about to buy 15 x 8 wheels for the rear of my 71, but I'm a little concerned how the trim ring will sit, and whether I'd be better off getting 7 inch rims so the trim ring fits right. Yours looks good though. i think I'll still go the 8's because I want to go 275/60/15.

Thanks,

Peter
