Saw a pic of one the other day, thought it looked pretty good. Just wondering if anyone here has ever done one or even has a 3rd gen charger daytona clone?

No, but Mike G. at Dayclona is still making the parts for the conversion and since parting ways with Gary B., he told me that the prices are much more realistic. I bought a couple of 3rd gen cars to build one, but haven't had the time to even think about it lately. I like the way they look and actually in my opinion, I think that they look much more like a factory built car than the 2nd gen wingcars. After my 2nd gen cars are finished, I may have to build a 3rd gen.
