69 charger carpet install questioin

Hi Im instaling a trim parts carpet in my 69 charger. in the last to mopar mags i see the heelpad is under the gas pedal base??? I remember seeing some pics here that the pedal was on the rt top side of the heelpad has anyone else installed the trim parts carpet? any pics? thanks

The pedal fits over the upper right corner of the heel pad.
