Thanks for the kind words,  the roo will be shifting with them (not sure how that will go). New shop is not as big but the layout is very different and it will work quite well with a little modifying.

I wouldn't call this an update, but did find some time over the weekend to polish and put on the the magnums. Also hung the rear bumper although we're waiting on the bumper guards to finish that.

I love that green color as well, I have thought about painting my Daytona that electric pearl green color that is on those newer Camaros, looks really good.
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

Loudmouthaussie, the paint was matched from a door jamb and is Lesonal which is an Akzo Nobel product. It's certainly not the same as poison ivy though, that's about all I can tell you.... :scratchchin:

Sorry my friend but the magnums are staying... Ordered the Glen Ray 26" 054 today, date coded for May the 15th. We went with the recommendation of a 3 row they said a 4 would have restricted the air flow to much.

This may be a little off the topic but I thought it was worth mentioning none the less. I received an email late last year which told the story of a genuine 69 Hemi Road Runner which is still down under and fully restored. It was a little neglected in the early 90's, the car used to store a lawn mower on the hood and the interior was was used as a rubbish bin. Littered with dog food cans and beer bottles you can see in the photos the wheel wells sitting loose in the trunk after it was tubbed to go racing and also a replacement quarter hanging at rear. The other photos are of a friends 70 Challenger he picked up at the time these photos were taken and some photos of a Superbird that once lived down here but is now back in the USA.

Tim.. Wow, the car looks awesome !!!! Do you plan on pulling that rear bumper off again, the guards aren't on... ???

I can honestly say, I have NEVER seen a 'Roo in a Daytona. I have to show my daughter this one, she'll love it..  :2thumbs:

Also, I noticed the Superbird with "Left hand Drive" on it. Is that a mandatory thing over there?

The left hand drive signs are no longer mandatory. Cars over 30 years can have full registration if lhd now. All states i believe. Think its been in place for around 10 years or more.

I thought it was decided in earlier thread/s that this was not the flood car.  :shruggy:

QuoteTim.. Wow, the car looks awesome !!!! Do you plan on pulling that rear bumper off again, the guards aren't on... Huh

Troy, the rear bumper was hung there to get it out of the way and yeah we know about the guards, they're on order. Don't count on seeing another roo in this Daytona unless, god help us, one drops in while cruising like your deer do from time to time...

QuoteWas it decided

Chargerman69, the upside down car in the flood photo is not this car. This car has a Dana and somebody was kind enough to enhance the photo to show a 8 3/4 housing. The upside down car in the photo was also in the Midwest where as this car spent it's life around Chalfont, PA. They were both on their roofs at some stage though.

Cheers, Tim.
