Thankfully in my driveway and not down the highway!

so what do you all recommend to use to "paste" it back on?

by the way, it's the driver's side "CHARGER" emblem that fell.

Yeah most of the emblems on 3rd gens are adhesive backed.  There are a few exceptions though like the roof medallions on 73/74 SEs and the engine callouts on the power bulge hoods.

2 sided tape will work fine, BUT make sure you clean 100% of the old stuff off first. Dont get lazy and leave some of it on or next time it falls off wont be in youre driveway!

You can also get it in a spout can.........Make a small trough out of some Tin foil, let it soak submerged in it for about 15- 20 minutes and it should melt off....repeat if necessary.

Goodz

GOO GONE or GOOF OFF works really good as well.  Just put it on a soft cloth and gently wipe.
