I was looking for a wire harness from YO and noticed the price difference between a 69 and a 70 dash harness.  I have a 69 and wont mind just buying the 70 harness to save some green.  If the prior owner didn't spice into a million times then Id be able to leave it alone? Below you will see YO's part list for both , difference I dunno?

HU271B Dash harness, 1969 Plymouth and Dodge B-body models with oil light, reproduction.
$648.00
HU272B Dash harness, 1970 Plymouth and Dodge B-body models with oil gauge, reproduction.
$442.00     :shruggy:

Any suggestions?

One thing comes to mind right away is on the '69 the four way flasher switch is in the dash.On the '70 it was moved to the steering column.
If this is for a charger you can't use the one with the oil light. All chargers('68-'70) had the oil gauge.

I dont have a slot in my guage bezel for the four ways, and thier is no other switch for them.   if thatthe only diffence then I can just instal a switch somewhere.   thanks for the help

You have the wrong harness selected for the 1969. You need:

HU274B Dash harness, 1969 Plymouth and Dodge B-body models with oil gauge, reproduction.
$592.00

Another difference bewteen 1969 and 1970 is location of ignition switch. The 1969 has the ignition switch plug in the dash harness where as the 1970 is in the steering column.

There are surely differences in other areas too.

Not a slot it's a rocker switch.Right below the dome light roller.

Saving some green will end up costing you more in the long run.  Do the job right the first time.

So I have a 70 guage panel, according to the above pictures on my 69?

Not that im not doing the job right but i was just questioning the price difference between a 1969 a 1970 dash harness.

the flashers have a pink wire lead correct?
