Does anyone know of a website or have a listing of the dodge dealerships that were open in 1971? I have no buildsheet and only the 2nd tag of a 2 tag car. As far as I know the car was sold new in either NY, NJ or CT. I am hoping that with a lot of luck I may be able to track down what dealer sold it (if their records go back that far). I know it's a long shot but the tag was "lost" several owners ago and I have had no luck in contacting them.

Man! that may be a tall order, we used to have two dealerships in My town at one time one sold Dodge and Chrysler vehicles and the other just sold Plymouth :scratchchin:  The one that just sold Plymouth was bought up by the other and it became the Don Johnson Chrysler Dodge and Plymouth Dealer, They went under about 15 years ago and we now have no dealers in town.  I am sure there are several stories just like this one.
1969 Dodge Charger 500 440/727
1970 Challenger convertible 340/727
1970 Plymouth Duster FM3
1974 Dodge Dart /6/904
1983 Plymouth Scamp GT 2.2 Auto
1950 Dodge Pilot house pick up
