Do any of you know any good sites or forums about amatuer films?  Myself and a few friends are going to put some of my scripts on film. I just want to know a few things.        Thanks,      Jeremy

If you needing someone to do some editing work on the films once you shoot them let me know. I don't have a ton of time to do editing any more, but I still manage quite a few hours of working on things per week. Been editing on a video on a restoration of a Daytona for over a year now.

I'm sure Ponch could hook you up with some contacts in the Valley.  Not sure why you'd need a script though. ::)

I just got a sony sr11 I plan to use to make short films too.
Funny how you have all these brilliant ideas in your head but once you go to shoot them they become a real bitch...
Ill have more time after schools out though...in between letting the coats dry on the charger.
What editing software do you use?
1968 Dodge Charger 440, EFI, AirRide suspension
1970 Dodge Challenger RT/SE 383 magnum
1963 Plymouth Savoy 225 with a 3 on the tree.
2002 Dodge Ram 5.9L 360
2014 Dodge Dart 2.4L

I took courses in Film and Video (that is what it was called at that time). Today's technology is so cheap and the quality is so good compared to what we were using just 16 years ago. I still remember lugging around huge camcorders with the external digital tape drives and battery packs. Forget about the editing nightmare with all those tapes and the huge money equipment. Today anyone with a grand and a computer can buy all they need to make a great looking video. You just need solid material, a vision of what you want to see, and hone the skills to pull it off.

Personally I use Final Cut Pro HD to edit my video's. Its a little pricey for the software, but the amount of work that you can process in that program is incredible.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

The only site I know of with good (non-porn) amateur films is this one.. Hopefully you'll find good info on there.
