While site was down what did you do?
I was kinda sad for a day then remembered about c-c.com and joined it, also joined chargerforums.com you know the wanna be charger forums. I was 'trollling" on there so it was fun while new site was up.

Well first the Charger went to the body shop and then the site crashed. Lets just say in the last 2 weeks I got more work done around the house like landscaping, deck building, and other "honey do" items done than I have in 4 years.

Now we have a new site and the Charger should be back next week...yep better quickly wrap up what I got started around here or it will never get done. ;D

& mostly lurked on a few others. ;D

I also finally fixed a few things around the house, laid some new sprinkler pipe so my friggin' trees won't die and...

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I had the time to make a decision about getting my Coronet ragtop fixed & decided to sell it. I tried to write up an ad & list what goes with it, but I have to go into the garage attic to see what's there. Too many items that I've gathered to remember it all, & I can't list it yet. After talking to Auto Rust Technicians last Friday, they estimate about $4K to $5K to do it so it's ready for finish work, prep & paint. It'll still need most of everything else restored, including the drivetrain, so I'm bailing now & will concentrate on my Satellite ragtop. I figure if I'm going to put the money & effort into something, that should be the one.

I've got too many other things going on, & if I keep the Coronet, it will get pushed back even farther. Anyone want to buy a Coronet?

I post whored on Moparts.  I don't know why exactly.  I guess just because I hadn't spent much time there in a while.

Went to Vegas with two hot chicks, hung out with Vinnie Paul (Pantera's drummer/Dimebag's (RIP) brother), took a couple of Sunday drives up and down PCH, went to the 26th Annual Lotus Festival, discovered some awesome dive bars and strip clubs in downtown L.A./Hollywood, and drank lots of german beer.

Worked out ok for me since I had to rip the tranny out of my girlfriends car and put a different one in. I would have rather been on the internet though since it was hotter than hell and the tranny was a bitch to put back in. Oh well.....

Invented a cure for the common cold, won the Daytona 500, broke the world's land speed record, found a 1969 Dodge Daytona sitting in a climate controlled garage with only 100 miles on it and the sale price was only $5,000 and then I woke up.

I went down the the Comic Con Convention in San Diego. There were thousands of people there and it was a blast. Call me a dork but if you do be warned, I was walking through the isles and low and behold who did I see walking not five feet away from me checking out the toys and such....Gene Simmons!! He had his wife and what looked like a bodyguard with him. Anyway, that's what I did.

I laughed while thinking about all the crap I got from some of the Jesse faithful because I suggested it might be time to start thinking about creating another site "just in case" Dodge-Charger.com went down.
That stuff is in the past now, though. Glad to see this site up.

I didn't manage to get a whole lot accomplished. Did get my radiator yesterday, but having slight problems in getting it installed in the car. Hopefully if we don't work today I can get it up and running and enjoy the car again.

Not necessary .... but appreciated.
I'm just excited there's a site where we can be enthusiastic about our cars again.

Been driving around in my charger, going to work here and there. GOT HIT while parked. :flame: Came out and saw the nose on my 72 crunched!!!!!!!!    Mother Fucker split afterwards too. So now im looking for a new bumper and fenders. Now I actually need the drivers side fender unfortunately. :'( And valance. :rotz: And heres the kick,  it was a big truck that did it.

Headrope

It's off topic (sorry, folks) but had the same thing happen to my '66 a few years ago.
I parked next to a big blue Dodge pickup thinking we'd have the mutual Mopar thing going. When I came out of the mall the nose of my car was a parking spot over from where the tail was.
From the tread pattern left on my driver side fender, and the security camera tapes it looked like the driver didn't pull forward enough before turning "out" of the parking space. His right rear tire caught my car.
The security cameras didn't offer high enough resolution to read the license plate (which makes me wonder what the point of them is), so I've never found the culprit.
Had he/she left a note I would have been pissed, but understanding. Stuff happens.
Some day carma will catch up with them. Good luck fixin' your car

I didn't even know it was down.  I had been trying to limit my visits to just strictly the tech forums, avoiding the often politically "hot" off topic and discussion areas.  Since the 'Charger has been behaving rather well lately even in the heat, I didn't even bother to check with the site.  Now all of this happened.... :icon_smile_dead:
