Welded Splice location

Hey,

I'm replacing the alternator-battery wires on the satellite, but I can't find the "welded splice" in the black wire  between the bulkhead and ammeter.
Does anyone know where exactly under the dash it is located?

It's inside the taped up underdash wiring harness, to get to it you'll have to cut the harness open. Follow the black wire from the ammeter into the harness and start carefully splitting it open with a razor blade or utility knife.
