The wife wants a new mattress. Nothing to exciting. . . . Then again a mattress could be exciting:D

For a second there, I read that, "The wife wants a new mistress."  I was almost jealous.  LOL

So is a new mistress...

I've got a hundred things I could throw that money at...but I think I'll probably just save it. Then maybe it will magically turn into some new Charger sheet metal one day. ;D

BTW, anyone who hasn't received their check yet can get an approximate date here; http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180250,00.html

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

It maybe a seprate thread, but i went to D.L. about six years ago with my then GF and here two kids, for their sake...
i hadn't changed much since i was last there on my H.S. G.F.'s senior Grad night, though i had a great time then, we were all smashed and.. well you know how stuff is when your 17,..  :D waded thru the water at pirates of the Carribbian to party with them,.. stuff like that... anyhow,.. i know there are newer bigger D.L.s everywhere from Fla. to Paris and i think a new one opened in Saudi Arabia a few years ago,.. but, I'd personally rather go someplace real if ya' know what I mean,.. cause di$ney land has this giant sucking sound if ya' know what I mean. even if i had kids I'd rather they saw the real world then some fantasy land that gave them unrealistic expectations of the world. INM. still a moot point though,..

Yea, I wouldn't call Disneyland a waste of time at all. With or without kids it's awesome! We spent $1,600 on the whole family last year and it was a blast. I would have paid twice that to go there.

yeah and you like the new charger,..

We are doing some remodeling/rebuilding on our house.  I had started checking prices on materials and labor about 4-5 months ago. After coming back from Vegas last month we decided it was time to get it done. Well, the framer I had lined up never showed and I ended up removing all of our old Florida room. (That's a three season room to the rest of the World). Then building the new bedroom myself. The quote I had gotten for the roof went up by more than 1 grand. The windows are up. HELL,,,, everything has gone way up. Many parts of the country don't see the instant jump as we do in Florida as any goods trucked into the sand pile has an additional cost.

At any rate, what ever we do get will not even put a dent into the additional costs we are paying. It's better than nothing. I can say that most of the materials I am using are from the USA and Canada.  :2thumbs: At least I can make myself believe I am doing my part in our job market.

Sort of on subject if you don't mind the injection, I think taking the kids to Disney is great. Better if you live close enough to drive on the cheap. From what I know, Disney is very good about being American for America. They employ thousands and thousands of people. Make much of their own stuff.  Also keeps the tourist thing going in hotels and restaurants and much more. Topping it all off with the fact that you did something great with your family, not just sitting at home about what is next.  Everyone needs to unwind and Disney is all about fun.  I'm all for it. :2thumbs:

A friend here is going to Disneyland in Calif next month and bringing 3 boys , aged 13 - 15 - and 17 .
I tried to tell him he'd be better off going to Six Flags Magic Mountain with boys that age,  think he just wants a hug from Minnie Mouse though ....

Anyhow, it will pay towards my collectible car insurance bill.
