Need a source for stainless steel Charger exhaust tips that fit 2.5" pipe

Hi guys, I just bought a TTI 2.5" exhaust system which I don't have yet, but I'm having trouble finding the Charger exhaust tips that will fit the 2.5" tailpipes. The originals were 2.25", so the reproductions of the originals won't fit. I was told by one vendor that everyone who sells 2.5" has the 2.25" ones with the end cut off up to the point where you could fit a 2.5" pipe into it and then weld it on. Is that true? Would that not require the exhaust pipe to be stainless as well, or can you weld stainless to regular steel?

TTI s web site they do the correct tips   :yesnod:    ..... no neen to weld ..just clamp on  ..need to shorten your tail pipes  though  ....

I saw the ones on the TTI site when I bought my exhaust system, and the reason I didn't buy them is that they don't appear to have the hook on top of them that slips into the rubber tip hanger. I suppose I could use the style of hanger for the pipes that don't have tips, but I already have the tip hangers. I also thought the price was a little high compared to what others are advertising, but if the 2.5" tips that others have won't work, maybe I should have bought them.

Thanks. I didn't know Accurate LTD offered 2.5" exhaust tips. I thought they only did reproductions of originals in the original size. I'll contact them and find out if their 2.5" are modified versions of the 2.25" ones as the one guy told me, unless anyone here knows? What size tail pipes did you get with your system you bought from Accurate? I looked into them when I was shopping for exhaust, but I decided to go with the TTI mandrel bent pipes, and the price for the TTI system was quite a bit less.

Thanks for all the replies, guys. Looks like the one vendor is feeding me a line of BS. Tan top, thanks for the offer to take a pic, but I understand what you are saying, so a pic is not necessary.

Here is where I got my entire exhaust system from.

I got my complete exhaust here also.  I must say I would consider chrome tips in the future over the stainless as the heat has caused my tips to brown a little in only  a few weeks.   :'(
