About 2 oclock we packed up and headed for home . It was cloudly but not wet yet so we figured we could beat the rain .  No luck it rained on us all the way home off and on. We stopped in topeka for dinnerand fuel around 5:00 .
Hopeing to catch a big cruise night there but it was pouring rain so we ate and header home making it home in overland park around 7 pm .  It was a fantastic trip and we owe everthing to RD / jamey . He did an amazing job and was so organized .

Big blocks are fun to drive =)
I did better than ok we made it in one piece
Between me and my dad (there is no way in hell my dad would be standing on an electrical box) we took around 141 pictures.
IDk how many Jamie took but its gotta be more than that. So this should be a pretty full thread between that =)
RECOMMEND GOING ON THIS AGAIN! IT WAS AWESOME!

Wish I could have made it, but with gas prices the way they are, it wasn't in the budget.  I'll try to go next year.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

Wish I could have made it. Was planning on going for months. All the while we have been planning on our big national ATHS show here in Hutch. Its a week away. I had 2 meetings to attend friday and saturday concerning this truck show.

MOPARHOUND!

Great postiing moparstuart!  Reads like a magazine!  Super thread.

Wife wanted to do a weekend trip, so I ended up at the Omaha Childrens Museum, the Omaha Zoo, and doing lots of swimming in the motel pool.  But...   :scratchchin:  .......   :D ....hooked on the car trailer before we left, traded a guy a 3 bay top and bottom tool chest for this running & driving 69 Coronet (440 & 727 have 500 miles on them, 8-3/4 rear) and some cash about 15 miles from the Zoo.....

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."
