Nice gig you put together RD.  I remember all those towns like it was yesterday.  Lotsa family in Salina, high school sweetheart in Abilene, good friends in Wichita & Lenexa.

Thanks for taking us along Stuart.  Your RR wouldn't happen to be a 4 gear?  Nice car, never knew you had it.  My buddy had one identical that was restored by Jerry Junemann, sort of responsible for me taking up Mopes.  He sold it about oh 24 or so years ago.  :scratchchin:

moparstuart

It was only a 35 mile trip from salina to elsworth but i was white knuckled the whole way . I let my 16 year old drive the car for the first time . He did ok but it was his first time driving a manual steering manual brake car.

Hes a really cool dude.  Charger74 and I went out to his place and bought a few things from him last year.  He has a really killer Challenger he is building, and I did see the black 70 Charger, but it was in a garage so I didnt get the greatest look at it.  Very nice car though!

No it's 383, 727 , Dana 60 3:54 geared (I installed the dana . ) Drove it in high schools in gray primer and finished restoring it about 11 years ago now.   It's the same car in the tiny signiture picture with my kids . That piture is 6 years old now taken at the WAM show in wichita .

Right on, not many folks can say they still have their high school car.  Mine, a /6 '70 Crumaro, is something I like to forget.

One of WAM's first shows was down on a river in some park.  That was my first Mopar show.  Todd has my pictures from it hosted on his site.  I followed my buddy in his '69 RR, made for a long day coming from Hays.
