Preorder the 2009 Challenger for $500 over invoice

Looks like a sign that things will be going in the right direction for the 2009 Challengers: No $10K-$20K over-sticker prices right from the start. Could also be a sign that they are going to be mass producing the car quickly in 2009. If this guy can do it, any dealer can/will do it.

Trim level would be RT or SRT. Chrysler/Dodge plans on having an SE and SXT model too however those build out's are not available in dealerconnect.chrysler.com. I will keep you updated as to when they are.

Awesome, this is the way it should be.

Think of it from the dealer level.  He doesn't have to "floorplan", finance the floor, wash/keep up the car, move it around, take it out for drives and hope someone doesn't smash it.  He just puts in the order and you get the car, and he gets $500 for every order he submits.  The rest is just simple paperwork and minimal dealer prep.

I used to deliver parts to this dealership!  That was a long time ago. :-(
