matching numbers?

Hello, guys! New to this forum. I have a 70' Dodge Charger that I have owned since 95'. I love the car! It has a 383 motor, 727 trans, and a 8 3/4 rear end. My question is where do I look to find the numbers on my trans , motor and rear end? I've had the vin and tag decoded already I just need to know what to look for and where. I have looked at other sites but come to a dead end. Any help would be appreciated! thanks.

Welcome to the site.

There are lots of internet sites that can point out where.  Also on this site do a search like this.....http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,5685.0.html      Just type in the search box what it is you need to know and hopefully previous threads will pop up.  The motor pad on my 69 is smack on top near the distributor, then there are the cast dates in the block and I think down near the oil pan lip are other numbers.  On the trani same thing, there is a stamped pad near the trani pan, not sure which side.
