Guys,

I am looking at putting a 6 pack setup on my 71 Charger and wondered if I might run into hood clearance issues with my flat hood.

Anyone else out there running a 3rd gen Charger, flat hood and a 6 pack?

I am currently running a Eddy Performer with the stock air cleaner.  I tried putting a 1 inch spacer in there but then I couldn't close the hood!  :eek2:

I was thinking of going with a bulge hood, but they are pricey and I kinda like the look of the loooooooooong front end.  And I don't want a scoop, that's for sure.  :RantExplode:

Thanks!

they have setups for non bulge hood applications (flat hood)

im thinking or running a 6pak setup on my 71.
ive seen fuel injection done 6pak style.
im leaning towards the fuel injection.

I'm sure you could probably cut some of the price down a lot.  Like you might just be able to borrow someone's laptop to program with if you don't have one yourself.    This is just what they sent me.  All you need to do is shop around a lot to find better deals.

MoParMetal

the one i saw was 3 throttle bodies. they center carb was the main one, just like the 6pak, and the other two opened up when you hammered the skinny pedal.
maybe we're talking the same thing. ill pm you.

Yeah, there is only one out there.  It's made by F&B Throttle bodies.  Here is a link to their website.
