date codes on wheels

Does any one know if there are date codes stamped into Magnum 500 wheels, or is there any way to tell the difference between a 68 Charger and 74 Challenger.

Yes, the rims are date coded; see the picture.

A 68 car would have the rims that are chrome all the way out to the edge. A 74 would not and the rim requires the trim ring.

Thanks I think my wheels that were being stored were "exchanged" for another restoration in the same shop. Can you show the difference in chrome in a pic the 68 has trim rings also.
