Well its just that mine was low after I pulled it out of storage wanted to make sure before i top it up... Guess there is no way to verify

You should be okay to top it up with that.  Type F wasn't the specified one so if you were purposely adding it you should remember.  Ditto for synthetics.

I've always used type F and 1 qt. 30w engine oil. An old trick I picked up from a guy that ran super stock back in the day.
