With the ZR1 Corvette priced around $100,000, the new Shelby GT500KR will be priced near $80,000. :P

That's a big bargain, I can't wait until I see the infomercial for them at 3 AM when Jack La Lane plugs his juicer into the cigarette lighter.    :D

You can't compare the Challenger to the KR Shelby or ZR1 Vette.  You can compare it to the Mustang GT or new Camaro, but the other two are in a  whole different class.  For what they can do numbers wise, they are cheap compared to their overseas competition.  :Twocents:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Sports cars are mostly done evolving for now.  Until we make some major jump in auto technology as a whole, people are just paying for exclusivity with those sports cars now.

A Corvette isn't much worse than a Lambo or a Ferrarri anymore.  The 'Vette just costs 1/3 as much because GM also makes a zillion other vehicles to spread out the drivetrain/hardware costs, unlike the Italians.
