I'm going by myself Friday, and probably Saturday too! My buddy can't make it so he's letting me take his Charger this year. I went by myself last year on Friday.

I go by myself every year but I barely have any time alone (except when it comes time to carry the cooler to the car).

Hey I do recall being around when it was time to carry a cooler. And as I recall it had wheels, and we stock piled another 50 lbs of crap on top of it on the way out to your truck.

It doesn't get much better than Carlisle.  If you have the chance to go, by all means do it.  Think about those folks overseas that would like to go to something like that don't have the chance.  And take your camera so you can do a show and tell for the rest of us that can't make it.

Troy...are we going to have a tent again this year?????

At Troy's house. He's offered to drive a bus if he's the high bidder on it, & also pick people up along the way who are wearing their DC.com hats & shirts.   :D

I go by myself.   I got  a room at the Ramada for Thur/Fri nights.   Plenty of things to see and do.

Hell, I wish I could go period.  I'd go alone if I had to.  Be a loner, a rebel  :coolgleamA:

I used to go with my dad. He is my was my inspiration and teacher in this hobby. Once he stopped I had a hard time wanting to go but I did anyway. Now I have a wife who loves it and supports my hobby.
I say go, keep your enthusiasm for the hobby and someday your dad will go with you again and or maybe your girlfriend/wife, or maybe you'll meet some good people there.

I'd beg, borrow, steal or whatever it took if I lived that close.  Someday...

Maybe the inaugural 2 day show & race that's gonna be in Seattle this year will bring the right coasters' out here someday and it can be compared to some of the big shows.  :shruggy:

I was thinking of not going , but after reading all this, sounds like a fun time had by all. :2thumbs:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
