Bump...

Yep...

Proven HP Combo's
This section for documented Builds with either actual time slips or actual dyno results.
Nothing speculative here...just the proven combos.

Not a forum for "what HP will..."

This was a great section.  But I feel, if Troy puts it on here, it should be locked.  No need to comment.  If you want more information about a certain build, you shoud PM the person that posted the thread.  This would save alot of space.

Maybe not locked, but posting limited to mods.

Cuda had a 402 stroker crate motor he dynoed, I built an Edelbrock 402 stroker, be nice to compare similiar builds in the same thread with different cams/head combo's. Perhaps a format sticky and you PM your thread to Troy or the other mods, they control the post that go there, and assign similiar builds to the same thread?   Or maybe each engine size/type   gets its own thread, interested in 440's all the 440's are in one thread. Interested in 360's, they are in one thread etc. Just a thought.

Thanks Troy for the start of a great board!

If one member wants more information then I'm sure many others have the same questions. The point of the section is to share information about what works and preferably *why* the builder chose what they did. It's a discussion forum used for the exchange of information and I don't want to limit that. I also don't care about the amount of space it takes up. That section had all of three pages and maybe 200 posts before. The Off-Topic section blows that away in 2 days with much less useful information. Why is everyone so worried about space?

The last thing I want is every thread/post having to be approved by a mod. In general, people follow the rules and if they don't someone can report it or we'll find it and move it. By not allowing anything then the original poster wouldn't be able to edit the post (or thread) even if they started it which means even more burden put on the mods for changes. As for posting similar combos in the same thread - see above about "discussion". It is possible to add more than one board or to split the board into sections based on size or big block/small block but in reality that section is so small that it would just clutter up the board. As long as people choose a relevant title it should be easy to locate similar combos.

And you're welcome!
