Heater Hose Fitting with MP Aluminum Water Pump Housing

I have the Mopar Performance aluminum water pump housing on my engine and have discovered that the heater hose fittings on this are both 5/8 NPT.

This is a problem for me since my heater box and heater hoses are the correct 5/8 hose and 1/2 hose.

I've searched high and low and I cannot seem to find a heater hose fitting with a 5/8 NPT and a 1/2 hose nipple. Any suggestions out there?

The set up should appear stock.

They're hard to find but there are reducer bushings that don't have the usual hex head, they are just 1/2"NPT on the outside and 3/8" NPT on the inside or you can just hacksaw the hex and thread them in together. I think that's as close as you'll come to original appearance.

Since the MP housing has the dual alternator bracket mounting pads it won't look correct anyway.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

you could do some creative welding and make one nipple out out two.
