SO I have started my car in a year. What should I do to get it fired up?

I put fuel stabalizer in it when I parked it.

Should I just prime the oil pump? How do I do that?

I would just get some starter fluid and have someone spray it in the carb when you try and fire it up.  once it fires keep your eye on the oil pressure.  If you dont see your pressure go up, then kill the engine and prime your oil pump.  I would bet if you had oil in your pump and filter before you stored your car, you will not need to prim it.

As for priming it,  I have seen a few threads here about it.  I just load up my filter with oil and slap it on real quick.  I dont know of any other way. I have seen it done.

I wouldn't use starting fluid, it works on the principal of detonation and hammers the pistons pretty hard; not nice on a motor coming out of hibernation.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
