Anybody know what I should torque the trans pan bolts down to? 73, 727.

According to my 71 Dodge Service Manual it shows 150 inch pounds for the trans pan bolts

If you don't have an inch pound torque wrench divide by 12.  In your case it equals 12.5 foot pounds.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I just found 96 inch/lb in my Haynes book. Not year specific though.

mikepmcs

OK, 8 foot pounds.  Regardless, it will be low.
Be careful or you'll crush her.
Or you can use the Harley method like I do(when I 'm not wrecking my car)

Tighten it til it strips then back it off a half a turn! :icon_smile_big:
