Well, it has been a while since I have posted. I have lurked a bit but haven't had much time to linger and post. I really miss you guys. I miss my Charger too. I need to PM the guy that bought it and see how it is going.

Here's what's been happening in my world:

I got married two weeks ago so the whole stress of dealing with that is over. So far married life is wonderful this time around. I can actually sleep with both eyes closed now!

My house is still on the market but there is a lot of interest. I have a contract contingent on the sale of the other persons home. I am not holding my breath on it. I am commuting about an hour now. I am in my wifes house until we get mine and hers sold and get a new place. She is a teacher and has both of her kids in the same school system so I made the sacrifice to commute daily. Even with the long commute, life is finally settling down a bit and getting into a fairly normal groove. Hopefully we can get the houses sold and be in an even better groove soon!

I bought a car.....Some will hate me for it.....I was waivering back and forth between another 68 or 69 Charger or a new Challenger. I don't have the garage space available right now for the Classic and the dealers are asking too much for the upcoming SRT Challengers. So.......I was visiting a local dealer recently and they had a leftover new 2007 Charger SRT8. It is the Plum Crazy edition. They only made 300 of them. He made me a deal I could not refuse. I am so ashamed! I just could not help myself. It has pretty much every option and this thing is wicked fast! I know it's not a "real" Charger but I really do like it. It's a heck of a lot of fun. Plus the purple gets a lot of looks. I still haven't decided if that is a good thing. I definitely stand out. A big ugly bald middle aged dude in a purple car!  :o

My wife agrees that I should get another classic Charger once we get settled into the new place....When that ever happens. I may have betrayed the purity of our hobby but I still have the drive and love for the classic Charger. I will have another soon. I promise.

Right now life is good. I am still working for Toyota. I have lost some weight and I feel pretty darn good. I'm still bald and ugly but I am smiling more these days!

I won't be at Carlisle this year but I will be at the Nats in August. My Father in law is coming too (he's a Mopar guy) as is my son and my new step son.

I will post some pictures up tomorrow of the new family and new car.

I am sorry to ramble. I am just so darned happy to be back!  I hope to be back here regularly again. That is if you guys don't disown me and send me off to the LX Forums. :icon_smile_big:

Thanks guys!! It's great to be back. I didn;t get a chance to take pictures of my car today. I will take some over the weekend and get them up. I am in the process of scanning some pictures of the new wife and I. I will have them up here shortly.

Telvis

I am going to try and post a couple pictures. Hopefully this will work. I scanned them as PDF and then saved them as JPEG.

Scroll the picture to the right to see it. It is the best I can do for right now. Sorry it's so big.

That worked....Kind of big but it worked. The first was obviously taken during the ceremony. The one below was taken at the bed and breakfast we stayed at.  We were married on the beach at Tybee Island in Georgia. It was a really nice experience for both of us. Hopefully it is a good sign of things to come. I can't afford to get divorced again!  :brickwall:

I will make sure to ake some good pictures of the new car tomorrow. I might even be able to get that burnout picture. They are replacing the tires because of flat spots. They had the car sitting in the showroom for about six months and it never moved. I complained when i test drove it and after two days the tires still had some vibration in them. They ordered me four new tires to remedy the problem. I am out to destroy this set before next week!! :naughty: :drive:

Anytime Tim ;)

I keep wondering what my girlfriend sees in me too. Especially because she is 19 years younger than me.  But I'm not complaining. She has hinted marrige a few times too. So....... ;D

Right on man.  For a bald, ugly guy you did pretty good.  Congrats on life treatin' you so well and hooking up with your soul mate.

Don't let anyone fool ya'.  There's more new Charger lovers here than most want to admit.  That's the exact car I want and will someday get, a purple SRT.  :2thumbs:
