I have the ADDCO on mine as well....couldn't pass up the deal Summit had on close out.....I think I paid $79 for the powder coated black one.  Makes the car feel much tighter in the rear.  Tucks up nicely as well & cant really be noticed (except for the cadmium brackets if you bend down & look for it....)

I'd like to add a rear sway bar but I don't really want to drill into the frame rails.  I can't see from the pictures, so what's the mounting like at the end links?  Thanks.

Yep...2 holes per side on the frame rail....not too intrusive IMHO

Yeah, that's not too bad.  Is that the 7/8 or 3/4?  I drilled holes in the K-frame for the front bar, so why not.  At $79 I can just quit smoking for two weeks to pay for it - I've used that excuse before.   ;)

This is the Firm Feel rear bar in an A-body.  They say the B-body is the same.

Nacho-RT74

didn't 2nd gens have the rear sway bar as an option ?

3rd gens are with holes already on frame, no matter if didn't have sway bar
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

Here's the Hotchkis bar mounted on the rear of my '69. The bar is hollow, as far as I know Hotchkis is the only one making hollow bars. Drilled 2 holes also, one in each frame rail. Super beefy bar, though. And, greaseable bushings.

I installed the firm feel RSB and had to have my exhaust redone because the bar goes right where the pipes are.

The lower installed sway bars don't look like they would have the same problem.

Chatt69chgr

I better not have that problem with my rear sway bar from Firm Feel because I called them and they specifically told me that the bar would clear the stock exhaust pipes.

Has anybody installed the rear bar from Firm Feel on a 2nd gen Charger that can address the exhaust pipe clearance issue once and for all.

chargen86

where can  you get Hotchkiss sway bars from i could find any on the web site
thanks aaron

Chatt69chgr  here is a real easy test for you.

Jack up the Charger and put some stands under the axle.
Take off the wheels.
If you can run a broom handle from one frame rail to the other with no clearance issues you will be ok.

Like my tire rub from not having a rear sway bar?

Here's a link on a rear sway bar on 8WHEELER's 68 Charger its some good info.
