Are you kidding me!  that is bitchen!!!!   :o  There are two cars i want in my lifetime.  A '69 Charger...check...  and a late '20s mopar rod or original sedan.

its a great rod. I am going to make him a floorpan, firewall and a wood and brass roof this month.Teak....with a radiator in it like a ww1 biplane..Roofieator™...sounds crazy, but it beats running it in the trunk like he planned on.

Extremely cool & unique radiator housing :drool5:  What is that from?  Why not use the radiator
housing for a 10 row radiator?

At a thursday night car show at the ice cream shop here in town there was a guy with a T truck who ran the coolant into the frame, all the way to the back, then had a radiator behind the cab, then down the other frame rail to the front, he said it took 11 gallons to fill it up but it always stayed cool.  :shruggy:

he doesnt want the rad up front, so I figure we can tuck the headlamps on that grill shell. I got the roof radiator all figured out...I thought about running the coolant inside the frame, but the rails are completely boxed plus theres some internal supports etc.

That is way cool! In the mid-50s, my father-in-law was the terror of Longview/Kelso, WA, in his 36 Ford roadster (rumble seat) with a dual quad 331-Hemi.
68 Charger 383 HP grandma car (the orignal 3X)

Looking at the pics, while the Rod looks cool, I would NEVER in my life drive it...

Not that I know allot about building a Rod, but to me the front end of the frame looks just suicidal :scratchchin: Looks like 1 foot of front end of the frame is bolted together with the rest of it. The spindles and the diagonal "frame" looks like it would only take one good kick to rip it off...

My :Twocents:

theres a massive torsion bar assembly that runs across the front at that joint  for  up and down suspension travel and and camaro balljoints inside the frame for lateral movement.. its insanely solid and functional in all axis of movement. sounds weord until you see it work. I believe it is a unique system. fabricated by Tim Conder

who kinda sorta knows what he's doing.

OK, I found the pics on the web page that showed the whole front end build. I did not notice the suspension system, cause its hidden behind the radiator chrome grille in the pics you posted.. Well Ill take back what I wrote earlier, but if you just look at the pics you posted, youll understand why I thought that front end build was suicidal...
