hi everyone just got my new power steering pump and brackets for yearone today bolted it on great no problems how ever when i went to connect the pressure line  i noticed one end is male and one female the male screws into the back of them pump but on the steering box the end is also female it had a red plastic screw type plug in it im guessing to keep dirt out while lines were off my question is should the correct line have 2 males ends or do i need to get some type of connector that will screw into the box so i can hook female end of line up ?

RD

the power steering gearbox has a fitting (male) that screws into the gearbox and a female end that you are to screw your HP line into.  some years of mopars had two male HP hoses, but some had a male/female hose.  Sounds like you just need a fitting/adapter.  a decent autoparts store has a brass fitting section that can assist you.
