Hey guys,  my first 69 Charger was put on the truck at about 5:30 last night on it's way to me in San Antonio, TX from Michigan :drool5:.  I can't wait to drive my very own.  By the way, if anyone is going to ship a car, I used 4 Corners Transport and those guys don't mess around getting a truck for your car.  I put the order in first thing in the morning and they had my car on a truck by 5:30 the same day.  They weren't the cheapest, but they were pretty close.  I can't wait, I can't wait, I can,t wait.  It feels like when you're a little kid waiting for Christmas or your birthday but it's still one or two days away. :lolexplode:

I definitely know what your feeling!!  I had to wait almost two weeks before my car was picked up and another two days during transport from Kansas to me here in New York last year. Longest two weeks in my life, I think I was driving my wife crazy, "kid waiting for Christtmas" she kept saying.

CB

nice to hear that!
I am still waiting...more then 70 days :icon_smile_blackeye:

You will be fine as long as its not a lifetime Michigan car. Still lots of nice cars here in MIchigan. Do you have any pics and what part of Michigan is it coming out of.

The Charger is being delivered tonight!!!!!!!!!!  I just put in the order yesterday and it is already going to be here one day later!!!
The guy i bought it from bought it, fixed it up a little, then kept it in his garage or in storage most of the time.  He hardly ever drove it, just bought it and stored it.  It was in Howell Michigan.  I believe the VIN does say it was made at the Hamtramck , Michigan plant.

What should I be looking for since it probably is a lifelong Michigan car?

And you better believe that I will be driving this baby out to the Boernie Charger Show.

that one looks really good. if it's as nice as it looks, unless it's a low mileage survivor type car, it came originally from a different state..lol.. which is good

The 383 was professionally rebuilt but it's supposed to be a numbers matching car (I will confirm this as soon as I can).  It also has the original owners manual and buildsheet.
Should be showing up any minute now.

Not sure I've ever seen that car before and I've lived in Howell just about my whole life.  Still looks like a sweet ride.  Why not PM me the owners name as I may know who it is.  Just curious.   :icon_smile_big:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

Hey guys,  I GOT IT!!!  This is the most kick ass car I have ever had.  It needs a little tweeking here and there, but over all,  it's awsome.

It arrived at about 3:45 this morning, it was about 4 am when I actually took possesion of it and at about 4:02 am I was pulled over by the cops.  I had it less than two minutes and I already got in trouble with the cops,  Damn I'm good.

I'm trying to post some pics of it but it won't let me.  I'll keep trying.

I walked down to meet the truck driver right outside my subdivision.  He got it off of the truck and there were no plates on it.  As I was "testing it out" driving back to my house,  it was almost like the cops(there were two in different cars) were out actually looking for me.  Well, come to find out they actually were out looking for me.  The neighborhood patrol called the cops and told them that there was a suspitious guy walking around the neighborhood.  So with a couple of papers saying that the car was mine and that I JUST got it off of the truck, they let me go.

Let this be a lesson to you all,  Don't go walking around your own neighborhood at night cause you just might get arrested for walking.

Sounds like you have either concerned neighbors or just plain nosey neighbors. At least they pay attention to whats going on

You should find the neighbor that called the cops and do a big smokey burnout in front of their house at about 3 o'clock in the morning.

How cool is that, a happy ending.   :2thumbs:
