cable or kickdown brackets....

i have a 440 in my 70 dodge charger & switched my intake from a torker2 to the rpm manifold & my mechanic is telling me that i need some sort of bracket, or cable for my passing gear to work properly....i noticed i never really had a passing gear...where could i buy this mechanism that he is referring to...thx to any replies..........

Lokar makes a solid one. I just bought one myself about a month back.   Just google Lokar kickdown or you can find it at summitracing.com.  I think it comes with the Lokar Throttle cable setup as well.
