:scratchchin: Hmmm, tough call.  After looking a it for a while, I think I prefer the Keystones but if I were you, I'd still get the slots refinished and hang onto them.  Maybe even throwing them on once ina while for a change.

:scratchchin: how about the slots on one side and the keystones on the other,.. or, the slots on the front and the stones on the back?..
  :shruggy:

sick dawg

I think it looks good either way, both are very '70s.  You could run one set and every once in a while change it up for a new look. :2thumbs:

Rallye

I think I like the slots... I say go ahead and get them resurfaced.  Plus, it sounds like they'll have a more nostalgic feel.  :2thumbs:

Go with the slots. :2thumbs:

No question.  :coolgleamA:

TruckDriver

As much as I love slots, I think the Keystones look better on your car. Maybe because of the color. Like the guys said, keep them all, and switch up every so often. :yesnod:

Dude the slots give it the perfect mean 70's look. Even not polished in the picture, they are beautiful.  :2thumbs:

I've got to dissent from the majority, I didn't like slots in the '70s and I like them even less today. Go with the Keystones.

Those are the Klassics that were sold through J.C. Penney automotive centers back in the day. I had a set on my '74 Satellite. I wound up masking them and painting the rough cast portions black. Oddly, the display wheel at Penney's when I ordered mine were painted black. No one mentioned that they would be silver when they came in. I was working in the Merchant Marine back then ('78) and paid for them in advance and had my dad go over and have them installed when they came in. I was probably in Germany or the Netherlands at the time. When I got home and saw they were silver, I wasn't a happy camper. I wrote Keystone and they explained that what I had were "J.C. Penney Silver Specials." Now that I see them again after all these years, I wish I had left them silver. At least they were somewhat unique. I eventually sold them to a buddy in Annapolis who put them on his '59 Coronet, which he also bought from me.

Neither. American Racing Salt Flat Specials or Torque Thrust II's.
Under construction 1973 Charger SE/RT resto-mod.

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

I didn't know that. I had seen some like that way back when, but assumed that the owner painted them that way on purpose. There were also some painted red or blue that I'd see now & then too, do you know if those were done at the factory? Again, I'd always assumed the owner did those.

I found this the other day; http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/wheel_detail.asp?subcat3=1071102
Might just have to replace my chipped & faded ones. ;D
