Has anyone removed the bulb socket from the front signal light housing? I'm restoring mine and would like to remove them to properly clean them. I've sandblasted the housing because someone had painted them. I've also painted around the lenses and bought new gaskets. Now I just have to clean the sockets.

Will be really hard. Sockets are basically a cup inside another cup, making a "sandwich" with housing. The inner cup is twisted and fit on outer cup just exactly like a bulb. But rust and dust will make hard to remove

Thanks Nacho, that's what I thought, but I was hoping for a special tool or something. I filled the socket with a piece of scotchbrite pad and swirled it around with needle nose pliers. It cleaned up all of the corrosion real nice. A lot less work then trying to remove them.
