I am a new member and new owner of an 06 Charger R/T w/ performance package. I am wondering if there are some good performance upgrades that would be fun and good to put on it. I have looked at a cold air intake, the live wire spark plug wires, but am not sure what is a good starting place and would get the most bang for the buck.. Help! Thanks! :icon_smile_approve:

Should I tell him or is someone else?

Perhaps checkout http://lxforums.com for LX/'06 Charger Sedan related stuff, this board is more geared for classic stuff and/or stuff regarding 66-74 Chargers.

Dude, welcome to the site, glad you found us...unfortunately, we're more of a "Classic Charger" group here. Your question will be best answered on LX forums...linky---> http://www.lxforums.com/board/cmps_index.php
Those guys are all about the new stuff. :icon_smile_big:

*EDIT* Looks like Plum 500 beat me to the linky. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Well done Plum 500!

It is nice to see members with class & tact!

Very diplomatic.

Upgrading the performance of the car will be somewhat easy.

But upgrading the image and street cred.... well....  with as much class as I can say it.... GOOD LUCK!

Andy 74, that was still not nices.

Well, you guys did way better than the last time  But we all should play nices with the new charger on the block. I bet that if Getuclu could have bought a new 69 Charger R/T he would have.

Hey, we sat a new record! 3 posting from a 2006 owner! ;D
Last person only made it for one post. :icon_smile_wink:

By the way, when most of us are dead, or old, someone will be day dreaming about there old 2006 Charger just like we do with are's.

Was not that long ago, say 15 years are beloved Chargers where concerted junk in most cases.

Rather it be a 66 or a 2006, it still say's Charger and still a Mopar. I still think the current Hemi would kick the shit out of 50% of the people her as well.

Might be time for a test drive.

As always Silver 68, very classy with your responses :rotz:.

Geez some of you guys really need to grow up. It's sad how immature this site can get once they hear the words '06 Charger.

There are rotten apples in ever basket. I bet a 2006 Hemi Charger would suck some primer off his Charger. ;)

Like I said many times before, time to get over it. They made it and people are buying it and want to join the site so what the heck!

I am a Road Runner man at heart, when I saw the first 75 Road Runner I was heart broken. The 76 Volarie Runner was better looking and that was hard to say. But I have never made fun of a 75 Road Runner to the owner. In there own way, they are trying to join in, have some fun and learn as well.

Cuda Ken, not bad mouthing 2006 Charger's again

So, I have to ask... you bought an R/T with the "performance package" and you want more stuff to make it faster? :D

My best guess on new cars is to let them breathe. Intake and exhaust are usually the best bang for the buck but I honestly have no idea how well DCX did on those parts in stock form. A chip would come in handy as well. I wouldn't waste the money n plug wires just yet.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
