Hello everyone, I was turned onto this site by one of your fellow members. I've had my share of Mopar Muscle cars my whole life, except the last three years now. I've owned 3 - 68 Chargers, 1 - 69 Charger R/T S/E, and a 70 Cuda 440-6, just sold the Cuda recently and purchased new Hemi vehicles. Now I have 05 Chrysler 300C, and a 07 Charger R/T Daytona (sublime). Other Mopars 77 Newport, 97 Ram p/u, 99 Durango SLT, 01 Durango R/T, and a 04 SRT-4.

The question I have is I'm looking for someone who has information or web site that I can go to, to locate a previously owned Charger? My father owned a 67 and a 68 Charger, I'm trying to find the 68 Charger that he once owned, if it still exists. I have the VIN number to the car, but some of the sites I've seen only can find cars with the 17 digit VIN numbers not 13 digits.

The car was purchased in either Rochester or the Minneapolis area of MN. The car was traded in at a Oldsmobile dealer in Elmhurst, IL. in 1971. Someone did suggest to contact the Olds dealer, but they no longer exist. The car was Forest Green with white interior, 383, and automatic. Somewhere I do have paper work for the car that I'll have to find.

I'll supply the VIN number XP29H8B257080
Any help would be appreciated, by the looks of the number of members on this forum someone might have knowledge or the resources. Thanks!

Here are a few pictures I'll add.

Sorry, no digital pictures. I sold the car to a gentleman in Omaha Nebraska. The car was red with beige interior, 440 automatic, a/c, pw, front disc brakes, stripe delete option, and I had the build sheets from the car. I bought the car in 1985 for $475 at the time the car wasn't running, and needed quarters. The guy was hurting for money, so it was a steal for me. The guy wasn't well liked, the car was shot at in three places. One  went through the radiator and bounced off the fan, one went into the front lip of the hood, the other went off the windsheild and lodged into the chrome trim. The guy came home and say antifreeze running down the driveway. Car sat for six months and I told him I wanted the car, eventually three months later it was mine. I had to store the car at a friends house at the time, my mother wouldn't allow me to have another car at home. I already had four cars at the time. I was 18 at the time and owning five cars.

I have the vin number and a remade copy of the window sticker.
