I feel the same way Dave.  It shouldn't look good.

However, the beautiful fastback is in harmony with that wing.  Maybe because we are used to the semi fastback treatment given the 69 Daytona.

I had once suggested on the aero forum that the 1st gen Charger was Ma Mopars preliminary strike in the aero wars but they shot me down pretty quick.  I think the nearly seamless way that wing  fits in with the fastback is more proof.
