heater box help

I have a 68 rr I bought it with the heater already removed does anybody have a diagram on how it goes together what cables go where

I saw that post and it was helpful but no info on the control cables and he mentioned the piece of insulation that goes inside but not where it goes this is what I am looking for

I am ready to install my heater box.Does anyone know if I should ground it by taking the paint on the firewall down to the metal when putting the taps on the heater box studs?Does this suppose to ground it in some way?.Dont think I should since the heater box is not metal.Any ideas on this?
