Thanks all. I have been wanting to do 4 things to him since I got him. 2 down 2 to go.
3, is the bulge hood and 4, is the black rally stripe down the side.   3rd gens do look great with the wing and chin spoiler. I can't believe the difference.

Ghoste

Just my opinion, but the next two things on your list amke an amazing difference in the way a 3rd gen looks too.  :2thumbs:

No question about it. Some of the purist may shiver but you are 100% correct. I can't afford a true rally or RT but I can afford to transform a  little at time.  :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
Actually, a good friend of mine bought me the chin spoiler.

Nice. I've been toying with the idea of putting a chin and rear spoiler on my 72 Charger since seeing one at Carlisle last year. Since not much of it is original it wouldn't hurt the value.

I think it gives it more eye appeal. Even though it's classified as a luxury car and not so much a muscle car it does sort of lean to muscle when you do a couple add ons.

I'm going to Carlisle next week for the spring swap meet and going to seach for louvers/hood and stripe kites. I have pretty good luck at the spring fling because Mopar stuff will be mixed with GM/Ford and they really don't know what they have let alone a price.

You know it might sound a little odd but instead of a regular wing I would love to have a Daytona wing. I seen the 2 at Carlisle and really dug them. I guess it's one of those you either love them or hate them.

That is one way to do it.  I have a good buddy that I used to cruise around with in my Dart when we were in high school.  When it came time to fix it up the Dart he bought me the hood scoop for Christmas and the stripes for my birthday.  I have since returned the favor buying parts he needs for his '69 Charger.

That appears to be the exact same one and yes it came with the mounting hardware. Since mine is a 74 it does not have the cut outs for the wing. Only a pad. You do not need a under lid mounting kit if you do it this way.

I followed this for the measurements.

The sweep on the tips is about the only differeance. Thickness is different also. There was 3 different types, if I'm not mistaken, on the wing. It's really a mater of preferance. I like the lower swing back tips verses the more flat sweeped backed go wings. If you google go wing/gull wing your get basicly the same pics.
