I was there when they did that jump.  Nasty landing but it didn't roll. 

Ironically, the car's center cabin was rollcaged so well that both doors still opened & shut fine after the wreck.

Looks like the pass side quarter had issues before the jump.

Rusted out sheetmetal everywhere + 1/4-ton of trunk ballast + steep launch ramp @ 65 mph =  bent unibody by the time it gets into the air.
 

I posted pictures of this one in "Looks like we're going to loose another one" You can see roll cage etc. My point is, no one would buy this rust bucket when it was for sale, then they jump it and everyone has a cow. I would jump bondo buckets all day long for 30 Grand a pop!!!

I personally dont care if the car was a p.o.s that's just plain stupid and i still say there are parts that could be used from it
