I was checking out the latest issue of Mopar Muscle at the gas station today and there was a blue 70 Charger 500 in it. It had the wrap around chrome bumper but instead of the normal grille, they put a 69 500 grille in it. I gotta say, it looked pretty cool :yesnod:

That's a Jersey car. It's not an article, but it's in the PentaStars section. It also had the A-pillar covers. Maybe Larry hooked him up?  ;)

It's different, and I will leave it at that.

Since we only live once, and all this is not just a dressed rehearsal, but the real thing............ Well, enjoy it!!!!

Haven't see it, but it sounds like it would have a 3rd gen look about it?

I saw the pic & would post it if my scanner hadn't died on me :brickwall:
No, I wouldn't call it a 3rd gen look at all - just different from anything
you've seen.

I just looked at a pic of this car at the local supermarket magazine stand.  I'm not sure how I feel about it.  It looks like the owner removed the rubber gasket thing inbetween the fenders and the front bumper.  Says he has plans to add the 500 roofline too...

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Wow! I really, really like it! The article says they switched out the front bumper but it looks like a 70 bumper to me. Now where can I find a 69 500 grille to do it???  :scratchchin:

I heard that Coronets had the same type of grille?  :shruggy:

I'm with Chris on this one. It looks......      :scratchchin:        different.
I see he's a fellow New Jerseyan.

In typical Mopar Muscle fashion, they botched the write-up. I don't know why I still subscribe to that mag.

Actually, the '70 bumper with that grille doesn't look too bad.

But I'm glad they didn't do that as a production front end, I like mine just the way it is. :yesnod:
